Zadak Spark DDR5 DRAM Announcement
Zadak Spark DDR5 Announcement
1 July 2021
No sooner have we all just got used to the idea of DDR4 memory, or perhaps taken advantage of the recently launched Ryzen 3rd Gen and Intel 11th Gen CPUs than a new memory specification is on the horizon in the form of DDR5.
Zadak produce high end memory kits and one of their most popular models is the Spark range. With the forthcoming DDR5 they’ve announced the next entry into this long running kit, the Spark DDR5. The key improvement, besides speed, of the new DDR5 format is the movement of the power management from the motherboard onto the memory itself, letting you run DDR5 at a staggeringly low 1.1V.
Available in both 16GB and 32GB capacities the modules come in truly breathtaking speeds. If you want to go as affordable as possible you can grab their 4800 MHz version, but should you want to go all in on getting the biggest possible bandwidth then 7200 MHz is available. 7200 MHz @ 1.1V! Blimey.
Naturally as with all modern memory kits the Spark has RGB illumination, and for those of you who prefer your lighting a little subtler it’s a little strip on the front and top side, rather than the kind of lighting that will overpower your fans.
Available before the end of 2021, the Zadak Spark DDR5 gives us a glimpse of what type of performance lies waiting us in the veyr near future.
