ASRock celebrates 10 years of Taichi at Computex 2026

ASRock’s celebrating its Taichi Anniversary in style at Computex 2026

We were at the ASRock booth at Computex 2026, and the company was in full celebration mode. This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the ASRock Taichi brand, and for many PC enthusiasts, this brand is what put ASRock on the map.

What started off as a series of flagship motherboards has expanded to cover monitors, PSUs, graphics cards, and even liquid cooling solutions. It’s ASRock’s seal of enthusiast-grade quality, and its success is more than worthy of some commemoration.

At the ASRock booth, ASRock had a stand showcasing the entire history of Taichi. From its beginnings with Intel’s X99 platform and AMD’s X370, all the way to the newest motherboard platforms. As a long-time hardware enthusiast, I found this exhibit more than a little nostalgic. Even now the older Taichi motherboards look great. A truly timeless design.

10th Anniversary Taichi Products

To celebrate their Taichi Anniversary, ASRock has released a range of 10th Anniversary products at Computex. Headlining this range is their new X870E TAICHI 10th Anniversary Edition motherboard, which features advanced capabilities like 10G Ethernet, 2x USB4 ports, and a 64MB ROM. This motherboard is ready for AMD’s current and upcoming AMD AM5 Ryzen CPUs. It also has a very meaty power system with a 24+2+1 phase design and 110A SPS chips for its VCORE and SOC voltages.

Next up, we have ASRock’s AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi 10th Anniversary graphics card. Aesthetically, this GPU is a great match for ASRock’s 10th anniversary motherboard.

This GPU features a boost clock of 3100 MHz, making it one of the faster Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics cards on the market. It’s powered by a single 12V-2×6 power connector and features a triple fan cooling solution.

For cooling, ASRock has released a 10th Anniversary version of its Taichi 360 HOLO CPU liquid cooler. It features a spinning holographic display on its pump, which users can customise. Sadly, this display does not show up well on camera, though it looks great in person. One has to wonder if this spinning display creates much airflow for a motherboard’s VRMs. Yes, I know it isn’t a fan, but it’s bound to move some air… right?

Here’s a look at the Taichi 360 HOLO’s pump top when it isn’t spinning. When in motion, it works like any other holographic display. Users can customise this display to showcase images or animations.

On the PSU side, we have Taichi TC-1650T and TC-1300T 10th Anniversary Edition units. Both of these PSUs are full modular and support ASRock’s “TempGuard” tech. This tech detects if your 12V-2×6 power cable is overheating and can shut down your system to avoid potential damage. A useful feature if you own a high-wattage graphics card.

The Taichi brand has done wonders for ASRock, and its legacy is worthy of celebration. I remember the X370 Taichi being a very popular option when AMD first launched Ryzen. A lot has changed since then, and I’m sure a lot will change over the next 10 years, both for the Taichi brand and the tech world in general.
