Computex 2021’s Physical Onsite Show has been Cancelled – Virtual Event to Continue
In a short press release, which is quoted below, TAITRA confirmed that Computex 2021’s physical exhibition had been cancelled. Computex’s online component will continue to take place this May/June, becoming the trade show’s primary focus.Â
Computex will not be back in a physical form until 2022, assuming that COVID-19 is under control this time next year. Â
 Â
With another wave of coronavirus pandemic across the world, it doesn’t look like we are close to the end. The majority of the show’s stakeholders, including international exhibitors, visitors, and media, cannot join the show due to border control. Therefore, the organizers of COMPUTEX have decided to cancel the onsite exhibition this year.
While Computex 2021 will not be taking place physically, the event’s online component will allow the show’s participants to continue to showcase their latest products. Unlike last year, Computex has a plan B, allowing technology enthusiasts to continue to enjoy everything that Computex has to offer, albeit in a digital-only form.Â
