Elegoo transforms the world of large-scale resin 3D printing with the Jupiter 2

Elegoo goes large with their new Jupiter 2 Resin 3D printer

At Rapid+TCT 2025, Elegoo has officially unveiled “something BIG“. This year, Elegoo will be releasing a new large-format resin 3D printer called the Jupiter 2. This new large-scale 3D printer delivers sweeping upgrades over Elegoo’s existing large-format 3D printers, boasting a larger build volume, higher resolution screen, and more.

This 3d printer has a 14-inch 16K screen and a build volume of 302 x 162 x 300mm. Elegoo states that this printer can print at speeds of up to 70mm per hour, allowing it to complete full-height prints in a little over four hours.

Speed isn’t the only thing that’s good about the Jupiter 2; it’s also highly modular. Elegoo claims that users of this machine can swap its LCD in 10 minutes and replace its release film in 10 seconds. With its smart resin management system, resin can be automatically fed into the printer from a detachable box that can hold 2KG of resin. Its heated resin tank will also ensure that your resin is at an optimal temperature for printing.

The Elegoo Jupiter 2 is big, fast, and easy to maintain

What Elegoo promises with this 3D printer is easy maintenance and a large build volume. Consumable parts are easy to replace, and with its large build volume, users can complete large projects quickly.

This isn’t just an enlarged Saturn 4; this printer boasts a new design with a new multi-point auto-levelling system, a neat double door design that’s unique to the Jupiter 2.

With its large build volume, users can tackle larger projects and complete larger batch prints. This is great news for those who want to print HUGE items. It’s also good news for those who want to print more models on a single build plate.

With the same 16K screen resolution and a larger build volume, the Jupiter 2 has a larger  XY pixel size than the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K. However, this screen is still a massive upgrade over the original Jupiter and the Jupiter SE. The Jupiter 2 has an XY resolution of 20 x 26 microns. That’s better than the Mars 5’s 35 x 35 micron resolution.

Other upgrades over the Jupiter and Jupiter SE include support for WIFI connectivity, the printer’s integrated camera, its built-in resin heater and more. Below is a list of Jupiter series specifications.

Elegoo has confirmed that its Jupiter 2 3D printer will be available in Q3 2025. However, Elegoo has not confirmed the pricing of this new 3D printer. We expect to hear more about it as we approach launch.
