PS5 Pro console design leaks – An even bigger Playstation
Sony’s PlayStation 5 Pro console is due to be revealed next month
Dealabs have claimed to have seen the finalised packaging of Sony’s PS5 Pro console, an updated console design that features a faster CPU, faster memory, and a major GPU upgrade. Now, an image of the new console’s design has been released, giving gamers a look at what soon may be the most powerful console available.
Due to copyright reasons, Dealabs have only been able to share a sketch of the new console. It is claimed that the system is thicker than today’s PlayStation 5, potentially making it the largest PlayStation to date.
The system reportedly features two USB Type-C connectors on its front, and reportedly ships with a single DualSense controller. This is the same controller as standard PlayStation 5 consoles. Furthermore, the system appears to lack a disk drive, though the system is likely compatible with the PS5 Slim’s disk drive add-on.

PS5 Pro Specifications and Release Date
Like the original PS5, Sony’s Pro console will feature eight Zen 2 CPU cores and Radeon graphics. The system will benefit from faster GDDR6 memory, and a 66% increase in GPU CU count. Furthermore, the system reportedly features AMD’s newer RDNA 3 GPU architecture, with some added elements of RDNA 4. These elements should greatly boost the console’s ray tracing performance.
Rumour has it that the PlayStation 5 Pro will be revealed in September. The console will likely be available to purchase in November. Currently, the pricing of the system is unknown, though we expect the system to be expensive.
