Survey claims UK Broadband and Mobile users can save hundreds by haggling or switching

Which? survey reveals huge savings from broadband/mobile haggling and switching

A recent survey of 5,014 UK customers from Which?, has claimed that the average UK broadband customer could save £65 per year by haggling. Virgin Media and BT customers can save more, wth £92 and £85 savings respectively, according to their report.

Switching providers proved to deliver higher savings for customers, with the average customer saving £100 per year. However, savings can vary significantly depending on your provider.

For mobile customers, users who switched contracts (with a phone) saved £79. Switchers with sim-only deals saved £66. Smaller savings could be achieved through haggling, with users saving £64 on bundled contracts (with a phone) or £41 with sim-only deals on average.

UK broadband customers should switch or start haggling when out of contract

If your phone or broadband is out of contract, UK customers should switch providers or haggle with their current provider. Doing so will result in savings, delivering them more value for money.
