X2D? Bambu Lab teases its neXt 3D printer
Bambu Lab is ready to unveil something new
Bambu Lab says that it is ready to unveil what’s coming “neXt”, teasing what appears to be a compacted version of the company’s H2D dual nozzle system. If I were to guess, Bambu Lab are teasing a replacement for their popular X1 series 3D printers. Given its dual-nozzle setup, I think Bambu Lab are preparing to unveil an “X2D” 3D printer.
We reviewed the Bambu Lab H2D Laser 3D printer last year, and a hypothetical “X2D” printer would deliver similar features in a smaller form factor. Not everyone needs the large scale of the Bambu Lab H2D, though many users could benefit from its multi-toolhead approach. This also makes us curious about a potential single-nozzle X2S or X2C 3D printer with Bambu Labs’ hot-end changing tech.
Ready. Set. neXt.
