AMD will be leading Computex 2022's first official keynote

AITRA, the organisation behind Computex, has today confirmed that AMD's CEO, Lisa Su, will be Computex 2022's premiere CEO keynote. This keynote will be hosted on Monday, May 23rd at 2pm Taiwan time (which is 7 am UK time), and will be available to view online.

The title of AMD's keynote is "AMD Advancing the High-Performance Computing Experience", and during this keynote, Lisa Su plans to discuss how AMD will "accelerate innovation with our broad ecosystem of partners".

Lisa Su plans to showcase AMD's vision for the high performance PC market, highlighting the company's "next generation mobile and desktop PC innovations". In their press release announcing the keynote, AMD's CEO has stated that by "combining cutting-edge CPUs, GPUs and software, AMD and its ecosystem partners will show breakthrough performance and leadership experiences for gamers, enthusiasts and creators." With this in mind, we should expect to see AMD discuss Zen 4 and other future products at Computex 2022.

I'd expect it's a given, hopefully they focus more on the new stuff than more laptop products like last time. How much they reveal is hard to say as it's still a fair ways from any major launches other than the midnight refresh.Quote
