Bauhutte's "Gaming Bed" is allowing Japanese gamers to bring together their bed, desk and gaming spaces

Is this really the 'Ultimate Gaming Space'

This motorised gaming bed can let you go from sleeping to gaming in moments

A new "Electric Gaming Bed" from Bauhutte has just launched in Japan allowing users to sleep, work, and game within the smallest space possible. The motorised bed can take games from a lying position to a sitting position with the click of a button, and can be combined with other Bauhutte furniture to create the "ultimate gaming space".

Japan's cities are famous for their small apartments, and that fact alone explains why Bauhutte's new BGB-100FA motorised gaming bed exists. If you have a small space to work with, you need to maximise its potential. If that means that you need to merge your gaming and sleeping spaces together, so be it. This is especially true now that more people work from home.

The video below showcases the bed in action, and how the bed's remote can be used to adjust the bed for sleeping, sitting or gaming. The video also highlights how it can be combined with other Bauhutte furniture to better optimise your gaming space. Example add-ons include a clothes rack, storage shelves, and work surfaces.

In total, Bauhutte's motorised gaming bed costs 57,000 Yen (including tax) which converts to roughly £350. However, that does not include Bauhutte's matching mattress, which costs around £510. These costs do not include Bauhutte's other furniture.

As much as Bauhutte's motorised bed may appear to be a product that's focused on lazy gamers, the reality is that it is a product that is designed to maximise the usefulness of compact living spaces. While most of us would not like to combine our gaming spaces with our sleeping spaces, others may chose to do so, especially if Bauhutte's products prove to be comfortable.

If you want to see more of Bauhutte's gaming products, you should look at the company's Amazon page. There you will find products like a "Desk Tent" that encloses your desk/gaming space, a hoodie that has a sleeping area for your cat, and a wide range of other gaming products.

Don't forget it's painted black and I'm certain there will be a more expensive option with RGB or just red accents otherwise it's not gamer and if you buy the cheap one without RGB you're not a true gamer!Quote
