Caviar, the Russian Jewery crafter, plans to create the world's most expensive PlayStation 5 console, a sustem which is said to be crafted using 20 Kilograms of gold.

Alongside this custom PlayStation 5 console, this system will ship with two custom "Golden Rock" DualSense gamepads which use Crocodile leather and and golden inserts to give these gamepads a luxury look and feel.

Caviar are currently working on a series of golden electronics, such as golden Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and golden Apple AirPods Max headphones. Their custo PlayStation 5 will be created using eight 18-karat gold sheets, which will be formed using jewlers techniques to give their custom PS5 a "unique geometry" and an exclusive aesthetic.

Given the current price of gold, and the workmanship that coes into crafting such a large jewelry-grade product, this system is expected to cost over $1 million, making this a product that's exclusive to the world's richest.

Caviar will only produce a single Gold Edition PlayStation 5 console, making this item a unique product for one of their ultra-wealthy customers. More nformation about Caviar's Golden Rock PlayStation 5 console is available here
