EK simplifies Hardline Water-Cooling with Pre-Bent EK-Loop Hard Loop Tubing

Water cooling a PC can be challenging work, especially if you are looking into acrylic/hardline tubing. Getting strong, consistent bends on acrylic tubes is a challenging task, but the visual results of having straight tubing runs speak for themselves.

In an effort to make Acrylic Tubing more accessible to water cooling newcomers, EK Water Blocks has created a series of Hardline Acrylic Tubing that are pre-bent. This eliminates the need for users to purchase specialised acrylic tube bending and delivers consumers, saves users time, and offers users consistent bends on each of their hardline acrylic tubes.

What EK's selling here is saved time and consistent tubing bends, which is great news for end-users. Better still, these tubes are acrylic, a material that is harder to heat/bend than more mainstream PETG tubing solutions.  Acrylic boasts a more glass-like clarity than PETG and is less prone to discolouration, with the material's only major downside being the challenges of heating/bending these tubes for custom liquid-cooling setups.

Several size options, perfect for newcomers

EK's new series of pre-bent acrylic tubing comes with outer diameter options of 12mm, 14mm and 16mm, supporting all major hardline fitting types. These tubes ship with 800mm lengths, allowing users to shorten these tubes as needed to fit inside their systems. Please note that users will need to chamfer the edges of their acrylic tubing to prevent 0-ring damage and ensure a watertight fit.

Each pack of pre-bent acrylic Hard Tubes will come with six 0.8m pieces and will be made from acrylic. These tubing kits will not come with compatible fittings, though they will support hard tube push-in (HDP) and compression (HDC) fitting types.

While building a PC with hardline tubing will remain a challenge, EK's selection of pre-bent acrylic hard tubes will greatly simplify the building process. That said, EK's acrylic tubing kits are not cheap, adding more expense to PC liquid cooling setups.

The concept is great, but the price? Hell no. You can get plenty of hard line tubes to sacrifice while learning to bend rather than buying these.Quote

Its not even new. Bitspower have done this for years. EK just trying to pass it off as their own sadly.

BP have even done it with glass tubing.Quote
