Lighting matters, and content creators know this better than anyone. That's why Elgato launched their Key Light LED panel, and that why Elgato has today launched their Key Light Mini LED lighting system.

With a battery life of up to four hours (at 50% brightness), 800 lumens of peak brightness and a colour temperature range of 2,900-7,000K, the Key Light Mini is designed to meet the needs of all potential users. The light can be powered directly by mains power or though its integrated battery. The lights can be controlled through Wi-Fi or using on-device controls. Elgato's Control Center app can be used to control these lights on iPhone, Android, Mac or PC.

For creators on the go, Elgato's Key Light Mini features a magnetic back panel to allow the unit to be mounted on a variety of surfaces. The Key Light's 1/4 inch thread can also allow the lighting panel to be mounted on cameras, Tripods, and other devices.

One of the critical features of the Key Light Mini is its flicker-free operation, allowing these lighting panels to be used alongside high refresh rate cameras without any issues.

Elgato's Key Light Mini is now available in the UK for £89.99 (Affiliate Link). Below is Elgato's Press Release.

Press Release - Elgato Announces the Key Light Mini for Creators on the Move

Elgato, a leading provider of hardware and software for content creators, today announced Key Light Mini, a fully portable edge-lit LED panel boasting the same award-winning technology found in Elgato Key Light. With multi-layer diffusion, a rechargeable battery, and grab-and-go form-factor measuring just 6 in x 4 in, Key Light Mini makes it possible to create professional-looking content anywhere.

Compact and durable, Key Light Mini sports a metal chassis with premium OSRAM LEDs powered by a fast-charging, intelligent battery offering up to 2 hours runtime at 100% brightness, or 4 hours at 50% brightness, on a single charge. When plugged into a wall outlet in your studio, Bypass Mode can be activated to preserve long-term battery health. Key Light Mini shines bright at 800 lumens and is fully dimmable, while a color temperature range of 2,900-7,000K enables creators to dial in the perfect look both indoors and outdoors. Light settings can be adjusted via onboard controls or wirelessly when connected to a Wi-Fi network using the Elgato Control Center app on iPhone, Android, Mac, or PC. In the studio, direct Elgato Stream Deck integration offers instant, one-touch control of brightness and color.

"Key Light Mini takes premium, edge-lit illumination beyond the desktop," said Julian Fest, SVP and GM of Elgato. "Elgato's lighting technology is renowned for superior quality and powerful performance. Now, creators can take that technology wherever they go, without needing an extension cable or external battery. It's an incredibly versatile lighting solution that works flawlessly from the studio to the street."

A 1/4-inch thread and magnetic back panel allow Key Light Mini to be slotted into any setup, whether mounted on a camera, tripod, or metal surface. This makes Key Light Mini ideal for TikTok and Instagram creators, vloggers, streamers, or anyone wanting to look their best in video conferencing apps such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Key Light Mini is fully compatible with the Elgato Multi Mount system, so creators can effortlessly customize their existing studio lighting setup.

With Key Light Mini, Elgato makes truly portable, professional lighting possible anywhere, anytime.
