Noblechairs release their new ICON series

Any office working will tell you that seating is important, whether it is to prevent back pain or simply just to improve your comfort during long work sessions. Yes, you can get away with low-cost chairs from the like of Ikea, but in the long term, your are much better off buying something that is more rugged and ergonomically designed.

Today Noblechairs has released their new ICON series of chairs, which are designed with comfort in mind while also using more rugged materials than their existing EPIC series chairs. To start off the ICON offer a five-star base that is 20% stronger than their EPIC series, allowing this chair to support heavier users and offer increased durability, with similar improvements coming to the chair's armrests.

The ICON will come in both PU leather and "top-grain" leather offerings, with Noblechairs using 1.5mm thick leather for their PU offerings and 2mm thick leather for their premium top-grain leather chairs, which is much thicker than most chairs at these price points.

The ICON is all about subtle design changes that serve to improve Noblechairs' already robust chair designs, using 2mm thick steel supports instead of standard 1-1.5mm support to make their already strong chair designs even more sturdy.

Everything about this new chair is designed to stand the test of time, from the steel frame and leather coverings all the wat to the chair's supporting foam, which is freshly moulded and used now sub-par recycled padding, ensuring that the foam does not deform and retains its ergonomic shape over time.

Each chair will come with a two-year warranty, with this chair coming with seven different colour/leather options. The PU leather offerings come with either black, blue, white or red stitched colour accents and the Top-grain leather models will come with Cognac, midnight blue or all-black varieties.

The Noblechairs ICON will be available today from Overclockers UK, with PU leather models coming with a price tag of £329.99 and the top-grain models coming with a price of £519.99.

I gotta say they are stunningly pretty chairs. Especially these ones. Look like something you would find in say an Aston Martin or Maserati. Gorgeous.

Sadly I am not prepared to move away from my real, proper chairs. This Humanscale is the best I've ever had and the only chair ever to stop my bad sitting habits (like sitting crossed legs like a hippy etc). It's the only one I have ever had that has encouraged me to sit up straight. And that's after going through Millers etc.Quote
