OC3D Needs Writers

At OC3D we have a relatively small team, with our reviewers like Gary Wain, Bryan Waters and of course our Editor and Chief TinyTomLogan, outside of that there is myself, Mark Campbell, working mostly in the News section and then on the forums there are all of our fantastic Moderators, who keep the place nice and orderly when Tom is not looking.

To continue to grow and to provide you our readers more varied and interesting content we need more bodies to write articles, post news and if you are good enough, review hardware. Just to be clear, we are looking for writers and not video reviewers.

How Do I become a part of OC3D?

At OC3D we consider each of our writers as part of the OC3D Family, so we usually look to the forums to find talented individuals to join our ranks. Before I was hired by Tom as News Editor for the site I was a frequent poster to the OC3D Forums, particularly in the News and Member Reviews Sub-Forums, so if you want to get noticed by TTL those are best places to start.

We will not have an application process, all you will need to do is join the forums and post high quality news posts or member reviews. If your posted articles or reviews catch our eye, we will contact you via forum PM.

What we are looking for is New and original content which is done to a high quality. If we are impressed with your work and contact you directly a paid position may be discussed at OC3D.

If you are successful you will be placed on the OC3D News team, where you will be able to produce and deliver News or other articles to the front page of OC3D. If you work well as part of the OC3D News team you may later be asked to take part in our hardware reviews.

OC3D is always looking for new people to join our team and we look forward to seeing what content you guys can produce on the Forums. Good luck to you all.

If you have any questions about working for OC3D please ask them on the linked thread over on the OC3D forums.

Oh, unfortunately English is not my native language, it would have been a nice occupation.Quote

I have a little time at the moment and hopefully over the next semester of Uni things will be slightly quieter than the last. I will take a good look through my hardwares and review something OC3D hasn't touched on before, perhaps I can do something a little special.

I'd love to! I've been a writer at a Belgian gaming website (news section too) for a few months now and feedback is generally very good. I'll try to write some news articles in the news section tonight or tomorrow morning.Quote
