ASUS has today expanded their PRIME range of PC components with new PRIME Gold series power supplies, which are launching with 80 Gold Efficiency levels, ATX 3.0 compatibility, and 750W and 850W flavours.

With an 8-year warranty, high efficiency levels, and fully modular cables, ASUS’ new PRIME Gold series power supplies are designed to be classy, cost effective, and highly capable. Users of Nvidia’s RTX 40 series graphics cards will be glad to know that this PSU features native 12VHPWR support, which allows ASUS’ PRIME Gold series PSU users to be confident that their PSUs will support the latest graphics cards.  

ASUS’ latest PRIME series products all feature a Space-Age theme, a factor that makes ASUS’ PRIME series lineup ideal for future Starfield themed gaming PCs. Starfield is Bethesda’s space-based RPG and it is due to launch this September on PC and Xbox. ASUS PRIME Gold series of power supplies are designed to exceed the certification requirements of the 80 Gold standard, offering users notably higher efficiency levels than baseline 80 Gold rated power supplies. This increased efficiency does two things, first, it decreases energy use and heat productions, and second it results in lower required fan RPMs and PSU noise levels. This is great news for PC gamers who want their rigs to be silent.
