be quiet! brings silence with its Pure Power 13 M PSUs

be quiet’s new Pure Power 13 M series is so quiet, it’s “semi-passive”

At Computex 2025, be quiet has launched its new Pure Power 13 M series of power supplies, promising 550W to 1000W “semi-passive” models. With their newest designs, be quiet only needs to use their fans under high loads, and even then, be quiet is able to minimise their PSU fans speeds and noise levels. With these units, be quiet is aiming for silence.

As with all modern PC power supplies, be quiet’s Pure Power 13 M series is ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 compliant. Furthermore, all models feature 80+ and Cybenetics Gold efficiency rating. All models feature a single 12V rail and feature a 12V-2×6 power connector. All models also feature a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.

With all models in the series, be quiet has managed to make its 13 M series PSUs quieter than their 12 M series counterparts. For the 1000W model, its noise levels have been decreased by 12.2 dB(A). Note that a 10 dB(A) drop in noise levels audibly reduces noise levels by half.

be quiet has now managed to lower the noise levels of all of its new Pure Power series PSUs to below 20 dB(A) when under 100% loads. If you want to compare that to something, that’s on the level of rustling leaves or a ticking watch.

be quiet plans to release its new Pure Power series power supplies next month, and you can see be quiet’s preliminary pricing below. Sadly, we do not have UK pricing for these power supplies. Expect to see more coverage of be quiet’s Computex 2025 booth soon.
