Last month, CableMod releases their updated V1.1 version of their 12VHPWR angled cable adapters. These adapters feature multiple design improvements, all of which make the adapter safer to use, and less likely to fail.

• Reduced Connector Wiggle – Revised connector and PCB virtually eliminates any wiggle on the male connector.
• Increased Thermal Pad Size – The thermal pad now also extends towards the connector soldering points.

Purchasers of CableMod’s original 12VHPWR V1 Angled Adapters can now apply for a free EAP (Early Adopter Program) coupon code that is worth $39.90/39.90 Euro. This coupon can cover the cost of CableMod’s new V1.1 adapter. This allows CableMod customers to upgrade to the company’s new adapter for free, though they will need to cover postage costs.

When speaking to CableMod, it was made clear to us that the company did not want any of their customers to regret purchasing their V1 adapters. CableMod’s V1.1 adapters feature an improved design, and the company wants their early adopters to benefit from their new design.

If V1 adapter customers take advantage of CableMod’s generous offer, they will have both a V1 and a V1.1 adaptor in their procession.
