Cooler Master reveals their "First In-House PSU" - Meet the XG PLUS Series

Later this year, Cooler Master plans to release their first series of power supplies to be designed entirely within the company, the XG PLUS series. These new PSUs will offer their users 80+ PLatinum-grade efficiency levels, support for ARGB lighting and a built-in display panel which can be used to display real-time system information, such as power use.

With their first in-house PSU offering Cooler Master are aiming high with the promise of quiet operation, a 10-year warranty and fully modular cables with in-line Japanise capacitors that are designed to reduce ripple noise in the power it delivers. In-line capacitors are a high-end PSU feature that remains a rarity for most PSU manufacturers, making this addition a big deal for PSU junkies.

Cooler Master will be releasing its XG PLUS Platinum series with 650W, 750W and 850W versions, which will be powerful enough to meet the needs of most PC of today's builders. These units will also feature support for management features through Cooler Master's MasterPlus+ software, which can be used to control the power supply's display and ARGB lighting elements.

Cooler Master's XG PLUS Platinum series of power supplies are due to release in Q2 2021 with estimated MSRP listing of $159.99-$179,99 on the company's virtual showcase website.

The next generation of Cooler Master power supplies will be revealed, designed completely in-house and equipped with real-time system monitoring via built-in digital screens.

• The XG Plus Platinum is Cooler Master’s first in-house designed platform. It was created to provide 80 PLUS Platinum certified efficiency and high-end performance with reduced temperature requirements. Monitor performance with the built-in Information Display Panel and manage these features and ARGB lighting with Cooler Master's free MasterPlus+ software.
