Corsair unveils 3000W PSU with four 12V-2×6 power connectors

MAXIMUM AI! Corsair’s newest power supply is strong enough to power four Nvidia RTX 5090 graphics cards

Corsair has unveiled its most powerful PSU to date, the WS3000. This new power supply can deliver 3000W of power, allowing Corsair to power the highest-end AI PCs. This PSU has an 80+ Platinum efficiency rating, is ATX 3.1 compliant, and is PCIe 5.1 certified. With 3000 watts of power, this PSU is capable of powering four RTX 5090 (or Blackwell RTX PRO 6000) graphics cards.

This PSU features four 12V-2×6 power connectors, enabling it to power four high-end Nvidia graphics cards. Even when connected to four 600W graphics cards, this PSU has an additional 600 watts of power to fuel the other components of an AI system.

The Corsair WS3000 is designed to operate using 220V-240V power and uses a C19 power cable. This is a larger chord than the C13 (kettle lead) cables that most PSUs utilise. This PSU can deliver 250A on its 12V rail, allowing its full wattage to be delivered at 12V.

(This PSU can support four 600W graphics cards)

Unlike Corsair’s more consumer-oriented PSUs, the WS3000 lacks features like a Zero RPM fan mode and iCUE support. This PSU is intended for high-end AI PCs, where low noise levels and software integration are not sought-after requirements.

Alongside its four 12V-2×6 power connectors, this PSU also features two 4+4-pin CPU power connectors, four dual 8-pin (6+2-pin) PCIe power cables, three 3x SATA power cables, and two 3x PATA/Molex power connectors. Additionally, this PSU has a single 24-pin motherboard connector. Note that the Corsair WS3000 has an MSRP of $599.99 in the US. However, this PSU is currently unavailable in the UK and does not have a UK MSRP.
