XIGMATEK has just unveiled their Shogun G series of PSUs, offering wattages of 550W, 650W and 750W with an 80+ gold efficiency rating. 

These new PSUs will be cooled by a 120mm double ball-bearing fan, uses all-Japanese capacitors as well as over/under voltage protection, as well as short-circuit protection.

At this time XIGMATEK has not announced the pricing of this new series of PSUs, with retail availability expected within the next few weeks.

Any idea if these will be modular or not? I've found in the past that their coolers have been pretty good value for money, so here's hoping more of the same.Quote

The thing is about power supplies is that sales are heavily driven by reliability.
Can't picture it being possible for them to be competitive on price and cut corners having not proven their worth yet.

Also, there's isn't any innovation in these PSUs either so I can't really see their place in the market tbhQuote
