343 Industries have heard PC gamers “loud and clear” regarding a PC version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection
343 Industries have heard PC gamers “loud and clear” about Halo: TMCC
In the past year, PC has also seen the release of Halo Wars: Definitive Edition and Halo Wars 2 on PC, showcasing that Microsoft is willing to bring Halo to their Windows platform. Today, it looks like a matter of time before we see a main series Halo game on PC.Â
In the case of Halo 5, the release of Halo 5 Forge on PC has proven that there isn’t any technical reason behind the lack of a PC version, acting as a running PC version of Halo 5’s multiplayer, leaving PC fans extremely disappointed in Microsoft and 343.Â
In 343’s latest MCC (Master Chief Collection) development blog, the company’s community manager listed some information about a PC version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. He stated that “we have no official plans to announce at this time”, not that there are currently no plans to release a PC version. Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a bundle which includes remastered versions of Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 alongside HD versions of Halo 3 and 4. Â

WILL MCC EVER COME TO PC?
We know this is something many people have been asking and wanting for years now. Currently, our priority is updating and improving MCC for Xbox and thereâs still plenty of work to be done on that front. While we have no official plans to announce at this time, weâve heard you loud and clear.
 Â
While this is far from a confirmation, it is clear now that 343 sees demand for a Halo on PC, one of the series’ original platforms. 343 has stated that there is “still plenty of work to be done” on MMC on Xbox One, so don’t expect a PC version in the near future. Â
