Age of Empire 3: Definitive Edition is coming to Steam and Game Pass this October
With this release, Microsoft will be adding two new civilizations to Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition, the Swedes and the Inca, both of which offer players new gameplay styles, units and technologies. Existing civilizations will also receive a refresh, with the game’s Native American groups seeing the largest changes.Â
Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition will also include two new game modes, “Historical Battles” and “The Art of War Challenge”, giving gamers more gameplay variety than Age of Empire 3’s original PC release.Â
On Steam and Xbox Game Pass for PC, Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition will release on October 15th. Existing Steam owners of Age of Empires 3 Complete Edition will receive a 25% discount if they purchase Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition on Steam.Â
