Age of Wonders 4 is the fastest selling game in the series

Age of Wonders 4 has sold over 250K copies in one week

Paradox Interactive have announced that Age of Wonders 4 has become the series’ fastest-selling game to date, having sold over 250,000 copies after one week. 

Age of Wonders 4 is a fantasy 4X game where players can control their empires from a Civilisation-like turn-based campaign map and conduct battles XCOM-style in separate turn-based tactical combat maps. What makes Age of Wonders 4 unique is the game’s new storytelling events system, and the ability for players to customise their empires with unique traits and mechanics. These mechanics make Age of Wonders 4 almost endlessly replayable, and allow gamers to add some extra flavour to their chosen empire.

At the time of writing, Age of Wonders 4 has very positive reviews and has received several PC hotfix updates to address some of the game’s early bugs.
