Amazon’s Luna game streaming service is now available outside the US

Amazon has just launched their Luna game streaming service within several key markets, bringing the company’s console-quality cloud gaming to gamers in the UK, Germany, and Canada.

Before today, Amazon’s Luna service was only available to gamers in the United States, but starting today the service is now available to gamers in a broader range of nations. Alongside multiple Luna streaming subscriptions, Amazon have also started selling their £59.99 Luna controller, though it is worth noting that the service works with a wide range of 3rd party Bluetooth gamepads on supported platforms.

Amazon’s Luna streaming service is available on Fire TVs, Fire Tablets, Windows PCs, Chromebooks, Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Android phones. Some games are available though the service though Amazon Prime subscription, and additional games are available though Amazon’s Luna+ service.

In addition to Amazon’s Luna+ subscription, Ubisoft has partnered with Amazon to offer Luna users access to Ubisoft + for £14.99 per month, which gives gamers access to a huge range of Ubisoft games. Additionally, there is also a Jackbox games subscription that is available for £3.99 per month.

Gamers who own selected Ubisoft PC games can also access their games though Luna if they link their Ubisoft account and Luna accounts together. This allows PC and Luna users to access the same cloud saves. This service is available to people with a Luna+ subscription or an active Amazon Prime subscription.
