AMD's Tress FX, a realistic hair renderer for games, has been added to the formerly early access Game Lichdom: Battlemage.

Lichdom: Battlemage is a Cryengine Based game where you play as a Mage, where battling ans Spell crafting make up the heart of the game. Lichdom was released last week to the public after it's time on Steam Early access.

From the Picture above and the trailer below, it is obvious that the hair generated using this affect is greater than what we see in most games, only really rivaled by Nvidia's Hairworks effect, found in Nvidia Gameworks library. Hopefully we will see more of similar affects in the future, as better looking games means there is a greater visual experience and better GPUs for us to play with!

It was about time another game got the feature. Although I think that in tomb raider the game was kinda sorta bugged and didn't give TressFX justiceQuote
