AMD’s Radeon Software 20.11.1 driver is ready for Godfall, DIRT 5 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

AMD has officially released their Radeon Software 20.11.1 drivers, offering Radeon GPU users game-specific optimisations for DIRT 5, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Godfall and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

In Godfall, AMD’s latest driver can deliver players up to a 7% performance improvement when using the game’s High settings. At this time, it is unknown what resolution or framerates AMD’s internal testing achieved with these new drivers.

Radeon Software 20.11.1 is the first driver to be tested using AMD’s Ryzen 5000 series processors as the company’s chosen game testing platform. Previously, AMD utilised Intel processors for their Radeon drivers testing. With AMD’s boosted gaming performance with their Ryzen 5000 series, the company now sees their processors as the best platform for games testing.

No bug fixes are included within these new Radeon drivers.
