ASHEN, EPIC Games’ First Store Exclusive, Arrives on Steam and GOG

One year ago, the Epic Games Store arrived on PC, significantly changing the PC gaming landscape in the process. Now, the Epic Games Store’s first storefront exclusive, ASHEN, has been released on Steam and GOG, giving PC gamers some extra purchasing options. 

To celebrate the game’s release on Steam and GOG, ASHEN is currently available with a 20% discount on both storefronts, while the Epic Games Store version remains at its normal MSRP price. 

Later today, Epic Games’ second store exclusive, Hades, will enter Steam Early Access, becoming the second Epic Games Store exclusive to transition over to competing storefronts. In time, the same thing will happen to all other Epic Games Store exclusives, including Borderlands 3, Metro Exodus and Shenmue 3. 
 
At this time it is unknown whether or not the Epic Games Store will continue to create game exclusivity deals in 2020. It has been a while since we have heard of a new Epic Games Store PC exclusive.
