Assassin's Creed: Rogue announced for PC

After Ubisoft's recent PR blunders regarding the in-game resolution and framerate of Assassin's Creed Unity, we have got some some good news from Ubisoft for us PC Gamers. Assassin's Creed Rogue will be coming to PC and not just the last generation consoles (PS3 and XBOX 360).

PC gamers will have to wait a little longer than our console brothers however, likely due to the console title releasing too close to the release of the Assassin's Creed Unity on the current gen consoles and PC. At present the only platform that is confirmed to play both new Assassin's Creed titles is PC.

In Rogue you play as Shay Patrick Cormac, who is looking for revenge in the frozen north atlantic. We'll have a chance to catch up with some familiar characters from Assassin's Creed 3 and 4, including Haytham Kenway and Adéwalé. It looks like the boat combat of AC4 will be featured heavily, and locations will reach beyond the icy northern regions to more tropical locations.

Assassin's Creed Rogue is expected to launch in November this year, with the PC version coming in early 2015. It is unknown at present if Rogue will ever come to next Gen Consoles at a later date as Ubisioft refused to comment.

Think I'd have to join you in that sarcasm
AC though a good game I wish it and the other franchises COD BF would take a big loss in sales so the developers can start thinking of something new instead of a rehash of the same old same oldQuote
