Assassin’s Creed Mirage is getting free Story DLC

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is getting a free content update

Ubisoft has just announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be getting a free content update (DLC) later this year. The update will add a “new story chapter and missions” to the game alongside a new location.

This free DLC will bring Basim Ibn Ishaq, the game’s protagonist, to 9th-century AlUla, Saudi Arabia. The update also promises to bring “gameplay improvements” to the base game and the game’s new location.

All owners of Assassin’s Creed Mirage will get this update for free, including new owners of the game. We expect to hear more about this DLC pack soon.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage was released in 2023 and isn’t the newest game in the series. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is the franchise’s latest entry, and so far, it has not received any DLC content. While it is strange that Mirage is getting a story DLC after Shadows’ launch, it is even stranger that this DLC will arrive as a free update. Will this story DLC have any implications for future Assassin’s Creed games?
