Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is going to be free on the Epic Games Store
While Assassin’s Creed Syndicate isn’t one of the series’ most highly regarded entries, many of the game’s early issues have since been addressed through patches and the release of more powerful PC hardware. These factors have ironed out most of the game’s bugs and have made 60 FPS gameplay the game’s higher graphical settings more accessible.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate places players in London and acts as the first series entry where a female Assassin can act as the game’s protagonist. In this case, players control a pair of twin assassins called Jacob and Evie Frye, who both take up the Assassin’s centuries-old fight against the Templars.Â
While Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate wasn’t well-reviewed at launch, a lot of the game’s perceived issues were due to Assassin’s Creed’s tired formula, something which will be less of a concern for those who haven’t played older Assassin’s Creed games for a while. That said, modern Assassin’s Creed games like Origins and Odyssey do play much better.Â
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be available for free on the Epic Games Store on Thursday, February 20th on the Epic Games Store, starting at 4 PM GMT.Â
