Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay will be showcased next week

Ubisoft has confirmed that it will release gameplay footage for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla next week as part of Microsoft’s next “Inside Xbox” live stream, showcasing the game’s Xbox Series X version.

This live-streamed event is due to start on May 7th at 4 PM BST/8 AM PT, showcasing Xbox Series X gameplay from 3rd party developers/publishers. Ubisoft will be one of these publishers, and the game that they plan to showcase is Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will place players within the shoes of Eivor, a leader of a Viking Warband that’s seeking a better life within the lush farmlands of 9th century England. According to the game’s Collectors Edition, Eivor will be playable as a male or female character, making the game a lot like its predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is due to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5 and PC, making the game a cross-generation title. Next week’s gameplay will feature the next-generation version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which means that Ubisoft is leading with their graphically enhanced next-generation version of the game.

On PC, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be available on the Epic Games Store and the Uplay. The game is available for pre-order starting today.
