Assetto Corsa Rally is coming to Steam Early Access next month
Assetto Corsa Rally is coming to PC next month
Supernova Games, in partnership with KUNOS Simulazioni, is creating Assetto Corsa Rally, and it will launch next month on PC through Steam Early Access. The game will use KUNOS Simulazioni’s proprietary physics engine, feature 3D laser-scanned tracks, and variable road conditions with dynamic weather.
This new rally game will use a “customised and optimised” version of Unreal Engine 5. The engine has been altered to suit the specific needs of racing games, delivering “high visual fidelity and performance”.
When the game launches through Early Access on November 13th, the game will feature 33km of laser-scanned real-life roads, 4 special stages, five game modes, and ten iconic rally cars. This will include Group B, WRC, and Rally2 vehicles.
Below is what 505 Games has to say about this new game.
505 Games and Supernova Games Studios, in technical partnership with KUNOS Simulazioni, are excited to announce Assetto Corsa Rally – the new additional arm within the Assetto Corsa series, dedicated to the thrilling world of rally racing.
Developed by the team at Supernova Games Studios, Assetto Corsa Rally brings the acclaimed realistic driving model of the Assetto Corsa franchise to one of the most demanding and spectacular motorsport disciplines. Assetto Corsa Rally will deliver an authentic and immersive experience that captures the unique essence of rallying – the ultimate test of speed, strategy, reflexes, and composure, all rolled into one.
Launching into Steam Early Access on November 13th 2025, Assetto Corsa Rally will feature both offline gameplay modes and gradually, throughout Early Access, online multiplayer. Every race takes place in a dynamic environment, where day-night cycles and changing weather conditions directly impact driving performance.
Temperature, humidity, surface type, and water progressively affect grip and vehicle response, making every stage feel unique. These elements are not mere visual effects but are integral to the physical simulation model, requiring drivers to demonstrate precision, sensitivity, and adaptability to master every situation.
With EA ending its WRC partnership and its Rally racing series, there is a clear void that needs to be filled. The Rally racing genre deserves something new. Assetto Corsa Rally (ACR) intends to fill that void.
By the end of this game’s early access period, ACR should feature over 120 km of laser-scanned roads, over 30 historic and modern rally vehicles, and five international rallies. If you enjoy VR and multi-monitor support, know that both features are in development. Note that multi-monitor will be available during early access. However, VR support is due to arrive later.
