ASUS launches its ROG Strix 850W White Edition PSU

Back at CES 2020, ASUS revealed its expanded lineup of White Edition ROG products, including a White Edition ROG Strix 850W power supply. Now, ASUS has officially launched this product, offering users white modular cables, fans, stickers and magnets.

Like other ROG Strix series power supplies, the ROG Strix 850W White Edition ships with an 80+ Gold certification and a 10-year warranty. All cables on this unit are fully modular and the unit offers users a 0db fan mode to enable quieter operation while under low loads.

Taking design queues from their ROG Strix series graphics cards, ASUS has fitted their Strix series PSUs with Axial-Tech series fans, which feature a smaller hub than most fan designs to facilitate longer blades to deliver increased airflow and downward pressure.

The 850W model of this power supply ships with a single 20/24-pin motherboard connection, dual 4+4-pin CPU/EPS connections, six PCIe 6+2 connections, eight SATA outputs and six peripheral (moles) connections.
