Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is getting New Game+ and a 3rd person mode
To celebrate the game’s 3rd anniversary, Ubisoft Massive has announced that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will get a 3rd-person update. This update will become available on December 5th, adding a new 3rd-person mode to the game alongside New Game+ and other updates.
Why December 5th? This game update will land two weeks before the theatrical release of Avatar: Fire and Ash in cinemas. This will be the 3rd movie in the Avatar franchise.
With the addition of a 3rd person mode comes new animations, updated controls, and the ability to see Pandora from a new perspective. This new mode will make the game easier to play for gamers who are more prone to motion sickness. It also gives players an extra reason to try the game’s New Game+ mode, as they will be able to replay the game with a third-person viewpoint.
With New Game+, Avatar players will be able to face tougher enemies and access a new skill tree to unlock more powerful gear. This mode will offer more challenge to seasoned players. Players will retain their items and skills from their last playthrough. Though players will be encouraged to replace their gear with newer, more powerful versions.
