Baldur’s Gate 3 has achieved Steam Deck Verified status

Following the release of the game’s Hotfix #1 update, Baldur’s Gate 3 has become Steam Deck Verified, with Valve certifying that the game is playable on the company’s PC gaming handheld without any issues.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is easily one of the biggest RPG launches of 2023, promising gamers hundreds of hours of content and a crazy amount of replay value. Now that the game is Steam Deck Verified, PC gamers can now enjoy Baldur’s Gate 3 on the go with Valve’s Steam Deck, without fears of compatibility issues, unreadable text, or other problems. 

Steam Deck verification also promises gamers that players can achieve stable framerates when playing games on Valve’s Steam Deck system. This means that Baldur’s Gate 3 can expect a smooth experience when playing the game on Steam Deck, assuming that they don’t crank this game’s graphical settings too high.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has quickly become one of the most popular games on Steam, easily surpassing over 500,000 concurrent players within 24 hours of the game’s launch.

In September Baldur’s Gate 3 will be arriving on PlayStation 5, and the game is due to launch on Xbox Series consoles at a later date. Currently, Baldur’s Gate 3 is a PC exclusive, and if you want to play the game on the go, Valve’s Steam Deck handheld is a good option.
