Battlefleet Gothic: Armada II has been announced

Tindalos Interactive has officially announced Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2, a sequel to the popular real-time space battle game which adapts Games Workshops' tabletop series.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada II builds upon the foundation of the original, bringing with it all 12 factions from the tabletop game with the promise of larger battles, more impressive visuals and improved multiplayer capabilities. This game is designed to be the ultimate Warhammer 40,000 space battle experience.

The game is set to release in later this year 2018, with the title's first gameplay reveal taking place at an industry event called "Le What's Next De Focus". This event is hosted by Focus Home Interactive, the game's publisher, taking place between February 7th and 8th.

Focus Home Interactive and Tindalos Interactive are pleased to officially announce the development for PC of the sequel to Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, the real-time strategy game that portrays the epic space battles from the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Like the original, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada II will offer several dynamic campaigns, which will take place during the 13th Black Crusade. The campaign will change depending on the player's success or failure, with unique events popping up around the sector that will force players to take risks to gain additional resources or allies.

Yeah, that was a pretty awkward one. Fixed quickly enough, tho. I hope the game runs well on Linux... Nobody seems to care about my ilk Quote

Was the last game released on Linux? That is usually a good indication.

Liking how we are starting to see good Warhammer games again, even if Dawn of War III was a huge disappointment. Good to see niche games like Vermintide and Gothic Armada earn enough money for sequels.Quote
