Bethesda releases DOOM Eternal’s Full PC System Requirements and Launch Times

Bethesda has reconfirmed that DOOM Eternal is ready for its March 20th launch date, with plans to launch on PC on 12;01 AM GMT in Europe. Pre-orders of the game will ship with free copies of DOOM 64 for your chosen platform. 

In Japan, DOOM Eternal will release later, with Bethesda listing a March 27th release date, with DOOM Eternal’s Switch version having an unknown release date “later this year”. 

Bethesda has updated DOOM Eternal’s PC system requirements and has revealed the game’s framerate and resolution targets on consoles, with the only exception being Nintendo’s Switch. 

On Xbox One/Xbox One S and PlayStation 4, DOOM Eternal will run at 1080p 60FPS, while on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X, the game will run up-sample from 1440p to 4K. On Stadia, the game will run at 1080p 60FPS on HD displays and at 1440p, upsampled to 4K, on 4K displays. Both the Xbox One X and Stadia versions will support HDR. 

On PC, Bethesda has revealed the system requirements for DOOM Eternal at 1080p Low settings, 1080p and 1440p High settings, and 4K 60FPS/1440p 120FPS with Ultra-Nightmare Settings. 

DOOM Eternal will require 50GB of storage space on PC and will require 3GB of VRAM or more to operate. This is similar to most of Bethesda’s other Vulkan-based PC titles.
