Black Desert Online is now available for free on Steam

Black Desert is currently free to keep on Steam

Until January 6th, Black Desert Online will be free on Steam, giving players full access to the open-world action MMORPG. The game launched in 2017 but has been updated consistently since its launch to improve the game’s visuals and add new content to the game.

Black Desert Online uses Pearl Abysis’ proprietary game engine, which gives the game a unique look and feel. The game’s character creator offers an incredible number of customisation options, more than most other MMOs.

By today’s standards, this game’s PC system requirements are low. The game’s recommended GPU is Nvidia’s GTX 1660 Super, a GPU that is considered fairly low-end today. Below are the game’s full PC system requirements.

OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
Processor: Intel Core i3 (4th Generation)
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: GeForce GTX 970, Radeon RX 480
Network: Broadband Internet connection

Additional Notes: 80GB HDD (SSD recommended)
