Black Mesa 1.0 is now available for PC, and its the best way to replay Half-Life

After over 10 years of development, Black Mesa version 1.0 is now available for PC, the fan remake that revitalised the Half-Life series and made the PC gaming classic palatable to the tastes of modern gamers.

March 2020 is a great time to be a Half-Life fan. Half-Life Alyx will be available within less than three weeks, and the enthusiasts of the Crowbar Collective have given everyone a good reason to replay the original Half-Life.

Black Mesa is a fan project that eventually became an official game development, arriving on Steam Early Access as a semi-official Half-Life remake after receiving the consent of Valve Software. Black Mesa recreated Half-Life with better visuals, enhanced gameplay and subtle changes that are designed to make the game more fun and memorable than ever before.

Black Mesa features multiplayer, a fully re-worked campaign and support for a wealth of modded content on day-1, improving upon Valve’s original creation to create what many will call the Definitive Half-Life experience.

Today, Balck Mesa stands as the best way to replay Half-Life, celebrating Valve’s transformative FPS while making the game more fun to play than ever. If you want to play Half-Life, now’s your chance. “They’re waiting for you, Gordon.”
