Blizzard is now planning to increase the prices of Hearthstone packs in the UK and EU, with price increases as high as 50% for single packs in the UK.

In the EU Blizzard will be increasing pack prices by 11% across the board, with the UK having the following price increases;

- 1 Pack - From £1.99 to £2.99
- 7 Packs - From £6.99 to £8.99
- 15 Packs - From £13.99 to £16.99
- 40 packs - From £34.99 to £44.99
- 60 Packs - From £47.99 to £59.99

This price increase will take effect on March 22nd, the same day as the game's new "Journey to Un'Goro" expansion, with Blizzard claiming that these pricing changes are due to changes in regional market conditions.

Not only is the price of creating non-existent products hideously expensive, but now the cost to the company that they need to recoup keeps increasing after they've finished making them.

Who'd've thought.

Next you'll be telling me that the Humble Bundle showing prices in dollars and then "converting" them to pounds by swapping the $ for a £ is annoying. Oh it is? Carry on then.Quote
