Board Gamers Rejoice – Epic’s giving away digital copies of two tabletop classics

It’s hard to organise a board game night, sometimes it proves too challenging to get everyone into a single room, and sometimes schedules simply don’t alight. Fear not, other options are available in the world of digital board games, and the Epic Games Store has two free games to get you started.

For the next week, Epic Games will be giving away free copies of Carcassonne and Ticket to Ride to users of their PC gaming Storefront. This offer will be available until February 14th at 4 PM GMT.

When this offer was announced last week, Pandemic was also included with this bundle. Sadly, this game has been pulled, and Epic Games has not commented on the matter publically. At this time it is suspected that this change comes as a result of the recent coronavirus outbreak, but again, Epic has not commented on this change publically. Pandemic is expected to release on the Epic Games Store at a later date.

Next week, Warhorse Studio’s Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Aztez will become the Epic Games Store’s next free PC releases, which is great news for those who wish to play a historically accurate RPG.
