Borderlands 3 is coming to Steam next month

Gearbox Software and 2K Games have confirmed that Borderlands 3 is coming to Steam on March 13th, ending the game’s exclusivity period on the Epic Games Store.

This move will bring the game to PC’s most widely used gaming storefront, though the game will be relatively unchanged when compared to its Epic Games Store counterpart. For example, the game’s Steam version will continue to utilise Denuvo, and the game’s Steam version will ship with the same content as the game’s existing Epic Games Store version.

Moving forward, Borderlands 3 is due to receive more content in the form of free and paid-for updates, with March 26th bringing Borderlands 3’s Guns, Move and Tentacles DLC to the game. In April, Borderlands 3 is due to receive its Mayhem 2.0 update, and a new “Revenge of the Cartels” seasonal event.

At this time, Borderland 3 is not available to pre-order on Steam. Our guess is that Borderlands 3 won’t have Steam pre-orders, but it will simply become available for purchase on March 13th.
