Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 owners can now host dedicated servers
The unranked dedicated server will allow you to run your own servers, manage the content on those servers, admin who can play on the server, and much more. The unranked dedicated server can be run from the same computer running the game or from a completely separate computer. If your server is run through a server hosting company or simply on a different computer, the remote console allows you to manage your server from any machine regardless of where your server is running.
This has been a long-awaited option for Call of Duty: Black Ops III and will likely result in a new spike in active players.

I think this deserves a round of applause, we haven't had support this good for a CoD title since WaW. For modern AAA standards i'd even call it outstanding support. A shame most people seem to have ignored their efforts, even CoD deserves some praise when they do something right, else they won't do it again.

I imagine that things would have been very different if COD: Infinite Warfare launched with this kind of support.Quote
