2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is getting a sequel
Activision has revealed the 2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is getting a sequel, and it's launching on October 28th. Sadly, Activision has not released any screenshots of gameplay for the upcoming shooter, instead issuing an "artwork reveal", where artwork of many of the game's characters are showcased on a boat, on shipping containers and other locations.
The storyline of Modern Warfare II is currently unknown, though today's artwork reveal has confirmed that Ghost is returning to the series with Modern Warfare II's campaign. Within the "artwork reveal" below, "J.8.22" is shown on a shipping container, suggesting that a trailer for Modern Warfare II may be released on June or July 8th.
