Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Graphical options and Multiplayer FPS cap

While conducting some preliminary testing on Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered we discovered that the singleplayer and multiplayer versions of the game performed very differently, with the Multiplayer version of the game running with a 90Hz framerate cap while the singleplayer version ran with an unlimited framerate.

We will be conducting more in-depth testing on the game this weekend, but for now, we will give you a look at the game's graphical options menu, which has quite a lot of different options but sorely lacks in some standard features.

First, the PC version of Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered lacks an FOV slider, which has been a staple for most modern call of Duty games and PC-based FPS games for quite some time, which is highly disappointing, which when combined with the game's 90FPS framerate cap in multiplayer will disappoint a lot of PC gamers.

Thankfully the game does have some accessibility options like a colorblind filter, and a large range of detailed graphical options, but sadly the game lacks some standard FPS options which will no doubt disappoint a lot of potential players.

Right now Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remasted is only available to owners of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition.

MWR definitely has a FoV slider, i know because a streamer i watched was annoyed by it resetting to 65 for no apparent reason from time to time. Maximum is 80 though, which was the maximum in CoD4 as well but at least we had cg_fovscale there to push the FoV beyond 80.

There appears to be a classic config, but it's encrypted for some reason. https://twitter.com/Gavnin/status/794215689892442114Quote

AlienALX
This works on this rig I am using now. Took out one of my drives earlier from Triad and stuck it into the A51 ALX. It loads up, which is an improvement on before.

And yes, I nicked it. Firstly I had no interest in Infinite Warfare nor the price and secondly I am skint.

Will play it later. Never played the original, but if it's as fun as MW2 was it will be worth what I paid for it Quote
