Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered PC System Requirements

Activision has released the PC system requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, requiring a system with a 64-bit OS and 6GB of RAM, a quad-thread CPU and a DirectX 11 GPU.

Strangely the GPU requirements are very different for AMD and Nvidia GPU users, requiring at least 1GB of VRAM and either a GTS 450 or an HD 7850 or higher. The HD 7850 and the GTS 450 are very different performing GPUs, though that does not necessarily mean that the game will perform worse on AMD powered GPUs, just that the developers recommend an AMD GCN-powered GPU or newer.

Being touched in the head is also a requirement. The game will obviously get a $40 standalone release some time after Infinite Warfare. No need to pay $100 by pre-ordering a game that nobody wants.Quote

Isn't it $80? Point is still valid though, i sure as heck won't buy IW to play an inferior version of a game i already have.Quote

I really feel bad for the Devs making IW. Going to work everyday knowing everyone is only buying the game to play the old one you didn't make. Like a waste of time..Quote
