Can you run Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP on your PC? Here are the game’s system requirements

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is now releasing almost two weeks early – Can your PC run it?

Dragami Games has released a new trailer for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, confirming that the game will be coming to PC and consoles on September 12th. That’s almost two weeks earlier than expected. The game has also received a set of PC system requirements on Steam, allowing PC gamers to know if their systems is ready for this cult classic remake.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP has been marketed as the “definitive version” of the Xbox 360 era original. The original is considered “cult classic” within the hach-and-slash genre. With this remake, Dragami Games has focused on delivering many of quality of life improvements over the original. The game’s story remains exactly the same as the 2012 original.

When compared to the original version, RePOP features faster loading times, adjusted input timings for combos, and a new auto-fire mode for the chainsaw blaster. Chained hits can also speed up the game’s attack speed. This gives players more of a reason to chain attacks and complete combos. This remake will also feature new costumes, chainsaw options, and hair colours.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP PC system requirements

On PC, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will be an easy game to run. The game’s minimum GPU is Nvidia’s mid-range GTX 1060 from 2016. Strangely, the game has no listed AMD CPU or GPU requirements. Only Intel and Nvidia hardware is listed. Another oddity is that the game is said to be 60MB in size. Our guess is that the game is 60GB in size, and that the 60MB listing is a typo.

CPU-wise, this game demands an Intel i5-8400 CPU or better. This is a rather high CPU requirement for a Xbox 360 era remake. Regardless, this isn’t a major issue given that most modern gaming systems will have a CPU that is similar to or better than this 2017 Intel i5.
