Capcom reveals Devil May Cry 5’s PC system requirements

Capcom Devil May Cry series is finally coming to current-generation consoles, moving back to the classic series with Devil May Cry 5, a sequel to 2008’s Devil May Cry 4.

Alongside its move to modern consoles and PC hardware, the game will also be moving to Capcom’s new RE Engine, which was used to create 2017’s Resident Evil 7, and will soon be used to build Resident Evil 2’s upcoming remake. Resident Evil 2 is known to offer PC gamers support for DirectX 12 and has been shown with Ray Tracing support at Gamescom 2018, though at this time it is unknown whether or not the final game will ship with support for Nvidia’s RTX technologies.

Like previous iterations of the series, Capcom recommends that PC gamers play Devil May Cry 5 with a gamepad/controller, as the game’s control system is optimised with a gamepad in mind.
