To celebrate the DRM-free release Carmageddon: Max Damage on GOG, the service has made Carmageddon TDR 2000 free on the platform for a limited time. 

This free game promotion will be available for the next 40 hours, giving PC gamers around two days to access this title. During this time Carmageddon: Max Damage will be available with a 49% discount on the platform, with both titles coming without any form of DRM. 

TDR 2000 was released back in, you guessed it, 2000, with Max Damage launching in 2016. Today mark's the game's DRM-free debut on GOG.

I played the 2016 one. It was terrible. Even with the graphics maxed out the backdrop was fuzzy and gave me a rotten headache.Quote

Is that the awful kickstarter one?

I quite liked TDR2000 but nothing will be better than Carmageddon II. What a game. back in the 3dFX days that was just amazing.Quote

IDK? not sure. It was bloody awful though. Shame, as it was quite fun.

For me nothing beats the original demo. It gave you more than enough time to have loads of fun. I used to love getting up to full speed, then pulling a hand brake and taking loads of people out at the zebra crossing. Funniest was the old woman with the walking frame "I WAS IN THE WAR !!". Many hours spent on that lol.

Then they released the actual game it was it was crap, and it just got worse from there.Quote
