Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time’s coming to PC this month – PC system requirements Confirmed

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is coming to PC later this month on March 26th, arriving a few weeks after the game’s launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.

On PC, Crash Bandicoot 4 will not be released through Steam, unlike the Crash Bandicoot N’Sane Trilogy. Instead, Crash 4 will be coming to PC through Activision Blizzard’s Battle.net launcher, completing the storefront’s conversion from being a Blizzard-only launcher to the home for all of Activision Blizzard’s AAA PC content.

The PC version of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will feature support for 4K resolutions, an uncapped framerate and more. We expect to hear more about the game’s planned PC version closer to launch, though PC gamers should expect to see the same next-generation enhancements as the game’s PS5 and Xbox Series X versions, should their hardware be up for the task.

Crash Bandicoot 4’s PC version will feature similar RAM and storage requirements as the Crash Bandicoot N’Sane trilogy, asking users for 30GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. The game’s minimum graphics requirements also remain almost identical to the N’Sane trilogy, with Activision Blizzard listing Nvidia’s GTX 660 GPU as the game’s minimum GPU. That said, GPU requirements are higher on the AMD-side, as the N’Sane trilogy’s minimum GPU requirement as an AMD 2GB HD 7850 while Crash 4’s is the 3GB Radeon HD 7950.

Unlike the N’Sane trilogy, Crash 4 has recommended system requirements, which list graphics cards like AMD’s R9 390 and Nvidia’s GTX 970, a 16GB RAM recommendation and processors like Intel’s i5-2500K and AMD’s Ryzen 5 1600X. These system requirements are not high by today’s standards, which means that Crash Bandicoot 4 should be fairly easy to run on PC.
